Lorie Ham has been singing and writing most of her life.

She sang with her family, the Leon Lewis Family, since the age of 5 and during that time was featured on television, radio and toured with groups such as the Blackwood Brothers, Kingsmen and the Speer Family. Lorie recorded several albums with her family.

Since going solo, she has recorded two albums and is currently working on the third.

Her solo ministry has taken her across the country into many different denominations and even into schools and libraries, thanks to her mystery novels. Even at her book signings, she is asked to sing. Her first song was published at the age of 13 and her albums contain mostly original material. Lorie’s style is hard to pin down, as it is a mixture of contemporary, jazz, big band and southern Gospel.

Through song and word, Lori's services focus on encouraging people to "let go to God." New songs, a mini-devotional plus personal stories and testimony help share with the audience how important it is to let go to God the things holding one back. Click here for a "Let Go" Devotional.

As a writer, Lorie has published in many venues — poems, songs, short stories, journalist, book reviewer, magazine articles and four mystery novels. Her current projects include more novels, a children’s book series, and a book on animal rescue.

Lorie is available for much more than just concerts. She has spoken on discrimination, animal rescue, using the talents God has given you to minister within your own church and town, plus creative writing. Lorie has spoken and sung for women’s retreats (where she can also lead worship) and meetings, banquets, church services, revivals, and more.

At her concerts, Lorie is now offering to do a presentation for adult Sunday School classes on the Hollywood Prayer Network — a wonderful new ministry that she is passionate about. These presentations take place during Sunday School time when she is already scheduled at that church for a concert, as noted on her schedule.

Lorie is also the director of Lorie’s Little Angels Rodent Rescue/Sanctuary.  To learn more about this venture visit her rescue website.  She has spread the word about small animal care and rescue through talks in schools and churches. Lorie feels strongly that Christians have an obligation to care for the animals that God created.

As busy as she is, her top priority remains her family. Lorie has been married for 17 years to Larry Ham, a Christian radio producer. Their adolescent children are also involved in her ministry and rescue work.
