KENYAN DOG HAS APPETITE FOR COMMUNICATION

MOMBASSA, Kenya -- A man who lost his mobile called the number from his landline and his dog's stomach started ringing.

Kamal Shah from Mombassa, Kenya said his German Shepherd, Snoopy, swallowed the phone.

Snoopy had an operation to remove it. Both dog and cell phone were reported to be fine.

Shah said he left his phone on a bedside table and assumed his son had taken it.
